Daughter and father meet in a white room. In the apparent emptiness stand a stigmatized diagnosis and decades of silence. What begins as an inquiry into the past develops into an honest dialogue in the here and now. The film questions the boundaries between illness and health, right and wrong, the familiar and the unfamiliar – and dares to attempt turning a utopia into reality. The debut film by filmmaker Eleonora Camizzi is a poignant exploration of her relationship with her father, who was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia over 30 years ago. The film was awarded the «Visioni» Prize at the Solothurn Film Festival.
