The President's Cake streaming

Iraq in the 1990s. While Saddam Hussein celebrates his birthday nationwide, 9-year-old Lamia draws a dreaded lot at her school: she has to bake the cake for the local festivities. An almost insurmountable task, as the country is facing food shortages. With only two days to spare and the help of a classmate, she sets out in search of ingredients: an adventurous journey through deprivation and uncertainty, during which Lamia discovers small miracles, humor, and hope.
