Some of them were enthusiastic or forcibly recruited fighters for the Tamil Tigers, while others became victims of attacks or were forced to leave their homes. Five Sri Lankan women from the opposing factions – Tamils, Sinhalese, and Muslims – share their experiences during the civil war. The documentary brings together perpetrators and victims, offering powerful insights into the traumas, resilience, and strategies these women have used to navigate and rebuild their lives.
